Hi Moms!
I'm specifically looking for a new mom that's single, divorced or otherwise on her own and in need. I have several items that my son has outgrown and I previously thought of selling. However now that they're adding to the clutter in our garage, I've decided to just give them away. I have a crib, a high chair, a couple of baby baths, a bath tub seat (can't remember if that's the correct name for it or not), a stroller & car seat (Graco travel system), a walker, a swing, a diaper genie and a playpen. Most or all of them are in need of a good cleaning (they've been stored in the garage). I can give them to you as they are, or you can wait for me to clean them for you. We live in Elk Grove Village, and you'd have to pick them up from there. If you're interested and truly in need, please let me know. I'd love to help someone out.

This is really nice. There was a teen mom who made a couple of requests a few weeks ago. Maybe you could look through some old posts and find her.
If you still have the travel system available, I know of someone who can use it. She's a new colleague who's expecting in Dec. Her husband is in the military in Iraq. She is from (and her family are all in Africa). Please let me know either way (if it's available or not).

I am not a mother in need. My friend Jenni and I have 'adopted' a teen mom and are collecting things for her. We have been requesting cash or gently used things from friends and family and would LOVE to pick up these items for her. This project just started for us so your items would be a giant help in outfitting her since she is only 16 weeks along right now. Jenni & I would be happy to pick up at a time suitable for you. If this is acceptable to you please call me to coordinate.
