I am looking for a Moms group that is around Sandy, UT. Also, I am looking for free activites to do around Utah. We have lots of family that likes to visit and expects us to entertain them. Any suggestions would really help. Thanks a bunch.

Their events calendar is the best, and I would recommend subscribing to the newsletter which is a weekly email telling you what activities and events will be happening in the next week.
I was going to suggest the same thing as was previously suggested. I also go to http://www.downtownslc.com/ and a lot of times the libraries have free things like storytime and the downtown library had Saturdays where you could read with dogs that were brought in. Of course, all the libraries have something a little different. Maybe you could do a Google search with the libraries close to you. I found my area's MOM'S Club on this site and I love it.
And I was going to suggest GoCityKids.com for activities both with your own kids and with visitors.
Have you heard of MOPS? It's a great fun group that ministers to Mothers of Preschools (infants through kindergarten). There's one that meets in south Sandy, we have a mom from Orem and one from Lehi who attend. Call Peggy Douglas at ###-###-#### or check out their website: www.mops.org.
