I am looking for a pediatric dentist for my 3 year old son. Since it is going to be his first experience I want somebody who is good with young kids. I want him to like to go to a dentist.

What can I do next?

Dr. Ferber in Riverside is wonderful. His office is small, but very accomodating. Suzanne and his staff are so sweet. They love kids. My son has been going there since he was 3. He's 7 now, and absolutely loves to go see the dentist now. How unusual is that. But that's how good Dr. Ferber is. The thing I like is that he never performs unnecessary procedures. If your kid doesn't have cavities he's not going to push additional treatments. Good luck!

I take my 4-year-old daughter to Pediatric Smiles. They are a little out of the way for me since they are located on the Northside but the drive is more than worth it. My daughter has been there about 4 times...she had a lot of dental work...and has never had a problem. The ladies and work in the office along with the Dentists themselves are very child oriented and very friendly.

The office is set up in a child friendly manner with toys, computer games and a tv playing children's programming. Also in the rooms there are also tvs in the ceiling so that the kids can watch the TV there.

Everyone that I have spoken to in the waiting room has also been very pleased with the staff and the dentists that work there. I am sorry that I do not have their phone number with me at the moment but I do believe that they are listed in the referrals on this site.

If you need any further information or clarification please just let me know.

Thanks

I am super picky about dentists and finally found one I LOVE! Thanks to a good friend's referral. The Myers Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is WONDERFUL! Their website is tooth2tooth.com
2149 Kingsley Ave

And if it is a little ways away....it is soooo worth the drive. Dr. Myers' goal is to have a cavity free practice. They teach parents about dental health and my kids have a great time and look forward to going.
Good Luck and Take care,
N.

Go to Dr. Beth E Kailes. Her and her staff are superb. I only wish she would have been a pediatrician. She has the utmost patience with the kids. She is in Fleming Island right across from Fleming Island High School. You will love her.
