We just moved to Rio Rancho and I am looking for recommendations for a pediatrician. We have Blue Cross insurance and I have 2 girls ages 4 and 16 months.
Southwest Medical Associates is a good group. They have offices on Irving just above Target and over at what used to be Northside Pres, I guess, near San Mateo and I-25. I like Dr. Olmstead at the westside office and Dr. Frontrunner at the northside office.
I use Dr. Goode at Lovelace, he is wonderful and when I need after hours care..I call after hours pediatrics. They are so great!!!
at the same practice as Dr. Good is Dr. Barela-Gutierrez. She is AWESOME. We also have BCBS and just absolutely love her. I have heard good things about several of the pedis in that office.

My girls go to Dr Indigo in the Rio Rancho Prespeterian building off high resort. I have tried several doctors before settling in with her. She is very detail oriented and caring and doesnt rush you threw the appointment. she also works long hours to provide the best chance to see her on the day you are requesting. Hope your enjoying Rio Rancho. I've lived here pretty much my hole life and I have two little girls, five and three.

how are you? i take my little guy to alwyn koil, md who works for after hours pediatrics. they just opened a new location on golf course, between paradise and paseo. i highly recommend them--i can't say enough great things about them...i just really like everything about the practice (especially the hours...open until 11 pm and open weekends, too!).
