Also Dr Ford for Dentistry.

My children have a awesome doctor. Her name is Dr. Mary Holo. She is with Crescent Family Medicine and Pediatrics on Crescent Avenue near Coburg Road. She cared about me after I had my son and took on my daughter to. She takes the time to listen and also chats with ya. She has always answered my questions and never interrupts and she is part of the reason we haven't moved yet!! here is the site for her office. we are new to the Eugene area as well and Dr. Karen Weiner ###-###-####) was recommended to us by two people and we are thrilled with her. She is incredably warm and nice and great with my two kiddos.

Don't know if one has been found yet but I simply ADORE our pediatrician. Dr. William D. Lux Peace Health Medical Center Coburg RD office. He's the best doctor we've had! I really like how he talks to you like you are REAL person.

Also Dr Bradshaw seemed to be a good doctor the 1 time I saw her when my daughter was hospitalized for suspected weight loss... that turned out to be a VERY UN accurate scale at the clinic.

I second the Dr. Weiner suggestion. We have been with her for 7 years, she has always been very warm and understanding. She will take the time to explain what you dont understand, and shares from her own experiences regarding child development and behavior.

My husband and I have 2...almost 3 children. We moved from California about 3 1/2 years ago, I was reffered to Dr. Livermore. He is located on Coburg road. I LOVE him. He is an amazing doctor and my children love him as well. They have great after hours and weekend care...which is awesome. Kids dont only get sick M-f. They can always get you in for a visit the same day (except for well care checks). I would highly recomend this facility. He is in a group of 4 or more doctors. The phone # is ###-###-####

My two kids go to Tamara Barstow at the PeaceHealth Barger clinic. 5 years ago, my daughter caught E. from the lane county fair. Dr. Barstow and the staff at that clinic were great during that horrible experiance. Dr. Barstow calls me back with results from lab work, even at 7pm at night. They always find a way to squeeze your child in if he/she really needs to be seen. She makes this little chirp sound when checking the kids ears (to make them be quiet enough to hear it)
My daughter was also admitted into the hospital in March 2006. It was a pretty horrible 5 day say for us. She had Rotavirus and was severly dehydrated...among other things. Dr. Barstow always checked in to see how she was doing.
I work on the mother baby unit at sacred heart hospital, and I have met most of the pediatricians in the eugene springfield area, they are all great. Your best bet is to interview some doctors, I'm sure you'll find that doctor that you click with.

You might try Kevin Marks M.D. That is who I take my daughter to. He was recomended to us by a friend that mostly goes to the naturalpath. However as a mother she recognises that some times you just need a doctor. So, we both take our kids to Dr. Marks. His bed side manners are great and his large office is in the same building as the perscriptions area at urgent care. HIs number is ###-###-####. His office staff is also nice and they accept many insurances. Hope that helps.
