I am interested in finding a playgroup in Fort Collins. I have a 1 year old daughter and would like to find a group with at least some kids around her age, but any group would be great. I work part time, MWF, so I am looking for a group that meets on Tues or Thurs.
There are 2 yahoo groups that both do many playdates. One is FortCollinsMommies. The other is COMomsMeetup. The Meetup group is nothing but playdates, at least 4 a week at random areas, the other yahoo group is more chatting/advice etc but playdates are scheduled every couple weeks there as well.
there is the moms group of fort collins that meet every now and then ,i forgot the exact address but if you get a fort collins reacreator(you can get one at any fort collins pool usually or in the recreation of fort collins building on howes street.)
la leche league breastfeeding support group (you do not have to breastfeeed to come even though it is oriented breastfeeding and attachement parenting) sometimes we have just playgroup with the kids ,sometime there is a topic about parenting in general or anything .like stroolerfit ,how to exercise with your babies in toe,discipline, sign language with baby(this tuesday if you are interested)....
the meeting place is
1600 west plum street in the office building. the meeting time is 10.30 to 12.30 or so.
