Dr. Thomas Matheson on San Jacinto by the mall is wonderful!!!
It's as simple as that: I'm looking for a podiatrist (foot doctor) in the Denton area. I'm 8 months pregnant and having terrible foot pain! Does anyone have any podiatrist reviews?
EDIT: I was having this pain before I ever got pregnant, but I think the extra weight is making the problem worse.. I'm fairly certain I don't need a chiropractor. My issue is more like thick calluses due to the way my weight is distributed on my feet.

Hello! I also second Dr. Damien Dauphinee. I work at the hospital in Denton that he does his surgeries. He is so nice and a great doctor. He explains everything and is always so friendly. I have NEVER heard a bad thing about him. I hope this helps.
I second Dr. Matheson, but since you are pregnant I would try a chiropractor first. I went to Dr. Matheson when I was nursing and he said as long as I was nursing/pregnant he couldn't recommend any meds. One thing he told me to do was to get can goods (one under each foot) and roll my foot back and forth to stretch out that muscle. Planter Faciaitist (sp? :)
Good luck!
Mashigan's (husband and wife) work out of Frisco Medical center and they are great!!.

I highly recommend Dr. Damien Dauphinee. I went to see him about plantar fasciitis and was treated without having surgery. His website is: http://www.completefootandanklecare.com/staff.php.
You can read his bio on the webpage. He has an office in Denton and Lewisville. I know when I've been there he's actually had patients fly in from other states because he is so good at what he does. Good luck because I know that foot pain is no fun.
Depending on what kind of foot pain you're having, I would first see a chiropractor. Ben Smith, in Corinth, is AWESOME! I have finally convinced my entire family to start going there! ###-###-####. He off of Post Oak by the Bill Utter Ford. The building with the big blue roof. He can fix nearly anything!!!! He's great!
