I am looking for activity or play centers with a variety of toys and activities to take my toddler. It is nice to get out of the house sometimes and give him a chance to interact with other kids, too. I am looking mainly for Mondays and/or Friday opportunities., preferably in JoCo.
C., I don't know if you're still looking, but the Lenexa Community Center has a wonderful "Gym for Me" program on Mon. & Wed. mornings. It's only $1 per kid, and they provide all kids of riding toys (including a little coaster that uses ride-on cars) and 2 bounce houses, as well as balls and other toys. It's wonderful, especially when the weather is too bad to play outside!
Try gymbaree or gymbaroo. They are on the net. I know there is one in Overland Park.
They have many activities and toys. I found it great for all 0 - 5 year olds.

If you are a join Parents as Teachers (free through Shawnee Mission School District), they have a play center that is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also have Mommy and me and Daddy and me nights there periodically.

I don't know if this is quite what you're looking for but think it is a neat set up for parents w/ little ones- the Great Plains Mall on 151st & I35 has bright colors & play areas for small children and you get to shop or look around too.
