Looking for an Affordable Pediatric Dentist...

Si MacAninch is wonderful...both of my girls have had great experiences.

K., my kids see Dr. Silas McAninch (Dr. Mac). He is AMAZING. SO gentle, so nice, appointments are ON TIME and quick! I have a child with some special needs, so I shopped dentists before settling on him. We also have no dental insurance, but I don't think he accepts any anyway. He's not "cheap" but I don't think his rates are different than anyone else's. And the fact that a 12:00 appointment means 12:00... I'd pay a LOT extra just for that! We've used him for checkups and cavity fillings. He's wonderful. Located off of 41, near Webber. Good luck!

Hello! I just took my 2-year-old daughter to Dr. Maibel Santos as well. We were referred by our pediatrician. She is wonderful!! I don't have insurance either. It was my daughter's first dentist visit, which included a cleaning and it was $150. I have no point of reference as to whether that is high for a first visit or not, but it was definitely worth the money in my book! They have little flat screen TVs on all the dentist chairs, and my daughter watched Dora the whole time! And Dr. Santos is really friendly and good at what she does. Definitely knows how to handle kids! She's off of University out by Lakewood Ranch.

We go to Dr. Maribel Santos in the Lakewood ranch area. She was a referal from our pediatrician who takes her 2 year old daughter there. We have been once and loved her! She has worked with children her whole career and the office has nothing but stuff for kids. When we first went for her to look at my 1.5 year old's chipped tooth. We didn't have insurance and I think it cost $85. My son has an appointment there in two weeks for his first cleaning! Just call and ask how much they charge, you will love the place.
