Hello everybody
i recently moved to the orlando area from ohio and it about that time of year, so i need to find myself an OB/GYN. My last one in Ohio was absolutely horrible, when i had my twins they practically yelled at me every visit, for gaining weight, they put me on a 1200 calorie when i was 5 months along, and it goes on an on and on, so i am looking for someone who is open, honest, and ISN'T strict on by the book pregnancies, because we are going to start trying again this year. SO, I don't care how far i have to drive, as long as i can find someone who is totally awesome!! please , please, help me out!

What can I do next?

Hey K.,
My name is K. and I am a mother of one biological daughter 6 months and soon to be three step children ages 3,4, and 5.
I gave birth in Kissimmee Fl. If you are in orlando you are not far from my OBGYN he was awesome for me! His name is Dr.Winger from Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. The phone # is ###-###-####. I highly recommend him! He also has four offices in the orlando/kissimmee area so it's easy to find and office close to home.
Well hopefully this has helped you in good ways.

Hi K.

I'm not sure if this will help but if you contact Winnie Palmer Hospital( Where you will most likely give birth) they can probably give you a few good refrences. I went through a high risk clinic that was affiliated with the hospital. I to have twins, mine are boys about to turn 1 on feb 16th. I hope this info can help you make a decision.

I went to OB & GYN Specialist, I highly recommend Dr. Bhullar as he is very nice, he is also very intelligent and seems to keep up with what's new in medicine.

I've seen some of the other doctors in the practice as well but have not always been satisfied with some of them. The only other doctor I liked was Dr. D'Heureux-Jones. I've seen Paula Mix and Carolyn (I can't remember her last name) who are ARNP's and they were nice too.

They have an office in Oviedo, Winter Park and Sandlake. And deliver babies at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Their appointments phone number is ###-###-####.

Hope this helps.

Like another poster (Darcie), I also use Winter Park OB/Gyn. I actually don't care for Dr. Lincourt, though. I thought she was a bit condiscending to my mom, who attended the visits with me. Also, she gave lame reasons why you would want to spend the crazy out of pocket expense to get that 3D sonogram (one of her claims is it may help the father bond early if the baby looks like him!!!) I have been using Dr. Dukes at that office for my annual visits for 8 years- he has great bedside manner- answers your questions and doesn't rush you. Dr. Breit from that office delivered 2 of my kids through c-section. He has HORRIBLE bedside manner (even the nurses at the hospital find him to be annoying)-- he'll smile at you, but he gets in/gets out and is all business. But he did a fabulous job when it counted during delivery- my first was an emergency c-section and I was happy to have him deliver for me again.

I do have an awesome OB near the Winnie Palmer Hospital. She's very down-to-earth and understands that every pregnancy is different. I moved to Orlando a few years ago from NY. I'm very picky about my doctors; especially my gyno/ob. The first time I went to her I loved her. In fact, I have a friend who's pregnant right now who switched to go to my OB as well. She also LOVES her. You may have already found someone, but if not let me know if you'd like her name and number.
