Please keep us posted on your findings... and how everything goes... I am going to try for a VBAC with my next. Good Luck!!
Hi moms!
I just found out I am pregnant with my second baby! i'm very excited! I think I may need to find a different OB this time because my current one may not be supportive of me deciding to have a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesaeran). Do you ladies know of any OB's or hospitals in MO who are supportive of VBAC's? I would prefer delivering in a hospital with an OB, but in you know any midwives, i'll take their names too.
thanks so much!
J.

Try Margaret Nickell M.D she is located at St. Lukes on the Plaza (actually in the medical office across the street from St. Lukes). She delivered my son via c-section and told me that upon getting pregnant again she would prefer I try and have a VBAC. She is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone. Her office number is ###-###-####
Good luck and congrats!

I would love to help, but I don't even know what a VBAC is....I mean, I'm sure I do, but can't think of what the letters stand for.
Hi J.,
I went to Women's Care for my pregnancy and I did my birthing class with them as well and the midwives that taught the class were always talking about VBAC's and how they supported them. So you might want check with them and or the doctors in that practice. I used a nurse midwife to deliver my daughter and I had a wonderful experience. (Jeane Schroeder was my favorite but they were all great) The phone number to Women's Care is ###-###-#### It's in Kansas they deliver at Shawnee Mission Medical and St. Luke South
Best of luck to you!!
I work for an OBGYN but unfortunatly they dont like to do VBACs. I noticed when I worked in labor and delivery not many of them do. But I do wish you lots of luck and really wanted to say congrats on your pregnancy.
