Can anyone recommend a good eye cream/gel? I'm going back to work in a few short weeks and am looking for something to brighten up my eyes so I don't look as tired as I actually am!
HI,
I do not work for Arbonne as some of the others who wrote but, their products are great. I would reccommend trying their eye cream. You could use of of the people who wrote in as a consultant or you can find one online. Most will give you a discount off of the retail price. THey also have an amazing but expensive anti-aging facial line called RE9.

I use a fantastic eye cream by Nicole Miller. It's a vitamin enriched cream that works great & it's less than so many on the market! You can go to www.melaleuca.com for more information. Hope this helps you feel great to get back to work!

I use Dermalogica, which is a professional line used in high end spas. It is not unreasonably priced, but works better than anything else I've tried. They have a wonderful choice of eye products to best suit YOUR needs, so you aren't settling for something that is a "cure all". You can read all about there product line on their website www.dermalogica.com. They have this product called "Day Bright" that is awesome! It gives you this wonderful tint throughout the day, while also offering SPF protection, it brightens up around my eyes and entire face, and I also have comments about my glow! I don't think you can purchase on their website, only at approved Spas/ Salons. You can do a search for a local Spa that carries the line. I work at a Holistic Spa that carries Dermalogica, and I could help you out more if you are interested.
Good luck!

MK Firming Eye Cream & Targeted-Action Eye Revitializer .. both work so well together as I use them everyday. You don't need much and they last about 4 - 5 months!
Plus, there is a MK Facial Highlighting Pen, that I also use as a concealer to add that brighter look!
Contact me, I am an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay & work Full-Time .. check out me out, as I have a Member Perk!

I use the Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. It has a pearlescent look to it, which acts to mildly illuminate the eye area, reducing the look of the dark circles. Plus, it's a great moisture boost. I find that I can get away without wearing foundation now, as long as I use my eye serum! :)

Creams are usually expensive and there is chemiclas in most of them, if you want something helpful, natural and affordable I'd go with castor oil. You dab a little at night and it really helps, one thing though, you can't do much for looks after a sleepless night!
Good Luck!

Dear J.,
I have always had dark circles around my eyes thanks to my genes and I love "Lemon Aid" sold as corrective foundation at Sephora. I use it on its own often when I look really tired and it's a quick way to look brighter and more awake.
Puffiness is another issue... I like to put over my eyes a fabric bag filled with flax seeds (hold temperature longer) and kept in the freezer. It is relaxing and it reduces the puffiness. You could keep one at work (if possible) if you need an extra boost in the afternoon.

Well there are a few routes - one, if you need a quick pick me up to calm your eyes and combat puffiness try Mary Kay eye gel, it's a clear gel and you can use it over mkeup too. To start to permanently decrease puffiness and get rid of lines around your eyes (which makes you look ol for sure) try Mary Kay firming cream (not their lesser eye cream which I think is too subtle) - use it at night patting around whole eye,a little goes a long way . Now, for MAKEUP, if you want to brighten up your eyes and any other shadows on your face, you need a facial highlighter - Touche Eclat by YSL (try QVC for best price ) is the best, but I also have used the Mary Kay facial highlighting cream and it works very well. Any Qs pls. feel free to email me! ____@____.com

I find "Ooh La Lift" from Benefit cosmetics to work well. You can find it at Sephora or Sephora.com, Benefitcosmetics.com, and at some department stores. It brightens as well as firms, etc.

Loreal overnight eye defense ( I think that's what it's called) is a good around the eyes moisturizer.
For a concealer--try Benefit Erase Paste and apply with an applicator brush. It hides a multitude of things, including dark circles. A little spendier than Maybelline, but this is a product that is worth it. You can get it at Macy's

I have used Lancome's Renergie eye cream since I was 18 years old and I wouldn't use anything else. The thing I like most about it is that at the end of the day, I still feel like my eyes are moisturized, but NOT greasy. I LOVE it!

I do not sell MaryKay nor do I currently have a MaryKay representative. However, I would try to Indulge Soothing Eye Mask, not onlly will it help you not look as tired as you are, but I've found that it actually helps my eyes not FEEL as tired as they are. I used to sell PartyLite and I'ld put it on for my drive home after a show, it just somehow made my eyes feel less like I was trying to keep them open. I also like to read before I go to bed, but sometimes my eyes just don't want to cooperate, I use it then as well.
