Down in the North Wilmington area we have many excellent Montessori programs. It might sound far, but Wilmington Montessori, the best in my opinion, has many families from the Main Line and even NJ. The other excellent options are the children's house montessori, and a new Montessori program in a church on Concord Pike rt 202 across from St. Mary Magdeline church. I would take a ride down this way. I would suggest you do a Montessori search for North Wilmington. We have more kids in private school per capita than any other state in the union. It is no surprise that many non Delaware families choose our schools - they tend to be some of the best in the region.
Good Luck!

I have a friend whose 4-year-old son goes to The Children's House of Exton and has wonderful things to say about it. There's also one on Paoli Pike in West Chester called Willistown (sp?)and I don't know anything firsthand about it but it seems really nice. Best of luck!
My son attends Brandywine Childrens House in Malvern. He is only 19 months so I dont know much about the Pre-K or Kindergarten. However I am very happy with the school so far, and my son really likes it.
Good Luck,
S.
