I am looking for a weekly cleaning service for my son's home. He recently graduated from grad school and is wanting to get someone to clean his house. He works long hours and is away from home most weekends, so he never seems to "catch-up" and when I go over there I can't help but start cleaning. If it's close to the house, we can even negotiaite me picking up and dropping off the laundry. I am an excellent detail cleaner. I use my products or yours, whatever your preference. I agree with the other poster. You need a good dry cleaners and a cleaning service. I know Benchmark Dry Cleaners will pick up and drop off from your house/apt. They do my husband's shirts however I ask... and he likes extra starch and folded so he can just pop them into his suitcase.

What does he need ironed? Most places that iron are going to be super speciality places and charge you huge amounts of money. Find a decent house cleaning company,then find a dry cleaner for everything that needs to get ironed. There are even places that will pick up and drop off your dry cleaning.

I'm not sure but I think that a friend of mine gets his clothes washed and ironed at the Comet Cleaners - there are a few of them in that area - you just have to ask them not to dry clean, just wash and press; I don't recall what they charge - but I know he has to remind them each time to just launder and press. Have you called local house cleaning services? I'd go with a major company that is bonded and insured unless you can be there or know of someone personally. BTW, I hear you on the once a mom thing - they are ALWAYS, and forever will be our "children" - no matter what or how far they go!
