I was wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere to take my 3 yr old and 1 yr old twins for swimming lessons in the North Reading area.

What can I do next?

The Paul Lydon Center next to the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers. They are great.

My son has been taking swimming lessons at the Andover/North Andover Y, which is in Andover, since he was 2. They start parent/child lesson at 6 months and independent child lesson at 3. We have been very happy there. They have lots of other classes as well as child care. The website is www.mvymca.org.

We are very happy with the lessons at the Woburn YMCA, but maybe the Reading YMCA will work for you. Our teacher, Elaine has 5 yo triplets so I bet she would be fun to bring the twins to. They have a zero entry pool for the little ones... it's much warmer than the big kids pool. Gook luck.

Pool School is great (the main office is out of Andover)! The lessons were at hotels (warmer pools for the little ones and you too!!!).

Try calling the North Andover YMCA and asking their advice. They have one of the best programs north of Boston, and if that is too far for you to travel, they can probably suggest a place in your area. Their number is ###-###-####. And have fun!

I was looking for lessons and a friend recommended the Woburn YMCA. She went with her son when he wasn't quite one. They have a ramp into the pool instead of steps. She really liked it. Good luck!
