Hello,

My daughter is turning 10 on July 20th. I am pretty last minute this year regarding booking her party. I have ran out of ideas of things to do!! We are in the Manfield area. And it doesn't necessarily have to be in Mansfield. Any suggestions? HELP!!

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi! It's been awhile since I've had to deal with ten year old birthday parties. You may want to consider what your daughter likes and dislikes. Would she prefer taking her friends "out" to McDonalds or having a backyard picnic style part. Perhaps she would like to have an overnight slumber party with a few friends sleeping over. You may want to talk to her and ask HER what she would like to do and where. At that age, I think she would probably like the idea
of having part in this decision......HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAUGHTER! ....God bless you all

Hello,

I am owner of Giggle Express. We come to you and do Theme Birthday Parties. We have many parties to choose from but our most popular is a Spa Party for the 10 year olds. Other themes we have is Rock Star, Royal Princess and Hula Parties. I come to you and do everything from set-up to clean up All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the party. Parties start at 195.00 for 8 children. If you book by July 15th I am offering a $25.00 off any party package. If you would like more information please let me know.

What does she want to do?

We have lots of parties. I don't know your budget but here are a few ideas....

Limo party (we've had 2).. Have limo pick everyone up at their home and parents can get pics, girls get to ride around in the limo (not too pricey in the DFW area.... we use Allen Limo). After the ride, go home, make a craft, mani's/pedi's, sleepover

Rent a suite in a nice hotel, have some girls over to swim, etc. Go out to eat, have late night room service snacks.

Main Event, community Pool if you don't have one. Scavenger hunt in the mall, go to a movie and dinner, 6 Flags, Hurricane Harbor, baseball game (we love to go watch the Frisco Roughriders)

Enjoy

My daughter just went to a 9th b-day party at a drive in to see Toy Story 3. She had a great time but it made for a late night.

How about going out to the lake at Joe Pool? They have a really cool beach with sand and a swimming area, plus a neat park for smaller children.

My girls also love the spa parties, where they do each other's hair and makeup, and I paint their nails.

Good luck!

I don't know what is in your area, but in my city the following are what's "in":
Rolling skating parties
dance parties
spa parties
pool parties
movies then pizza/ice cream parlor (Toy story 3/eclipse would be good now)
bowling parties
karate parties
gymnastic parties

Good luck!!

When I hit ten, my parents started doing parties at our bowling alley and allow me to invite up to 7 friends. We'd get two lanes and the cost of the party at my local bowling alley included pizza, drinks, snacks and cake plus the shoe/ball rental. They would alternate between that and taking a few of my friends and I to see a movie. Good luck!

We always loved sleepovers. At that age, we were allowed to have about 5 friends over. Had pizza and watched movies and played games. Got to go to sleep late. In the morning we would have pancakes or just cereal, depending on what the birthday girl wanted. This is easy and cheap--you just have to be willing to put up with a bunch of giggling girls!
