First go to the local library. They should know about some local playgroups and they may even have a group themselves. If your library has a kids room all the better. You'll meet some moms there and ask questions.
I know for sure there is a church in Holliston that holds a playgroup Monday and Tuesday mornings. I forget which church it is, but it's big, white and has a preschool in it. I've gone there only once. It cost a dollar for the visit. You'll definitely meet some moms there. Again, ask questions.
If that doesn't work for you and you don't mind driving a bit. You can always come to Marlboro and join the Assebet Family Network. It's on Pleasant Street. Phone ###-###-#### to get on their mailing list for playgroups, workshops and other activities for you and your kids.

There is also a great place called Isis Maternity, with branches in Needham, Arlington, and Brookline, that runs all sorts of developmental groups for kids and moms! The Needham branch might make sense for you. Check out their website at isismaternity.com. My parents live in Holliston and it's a great area, especially with the surrounding towns, so I'm sure you won't have too hard a time finding people to hook up with! Good luck!
