I'm mom 2 three kiddos, and stepmom to three more. We have a busy house! I would love to meet other moms who are in a blended family. It would be nice to get together to talk about our lives and the issues that blended families go through. I live near White Rock lake but have three kids of my own and my fiance has two that come over every other weekend. We plan it so that we have all five kids one weekend and then no kids the next (when my kids go to their dad's house). It is stressful to me to have five kids because we are still living in the house that I moved to after my divorce and it is small!

Hi I have 2 crazy kiddos whom I adore and we live with their dad in Garland. Dad also has two teens from previous relationships who stay with us every other weekend and the whole month of July, each one with a different mom, so we deal with a rather unusual situation. I must say the relationship with his daughter at first was very difficult, and the relationship with our household and his older son's mom was a nightmare. At any rate things are now going really well and I would be happy to join a group where I may be able to offer words of advice or encouragement from a veteran of the trenches.

I would be interested in being part of a blended family gorup. I am a stepmom to an 8 yr old girl and have been struggling with the "normal" issues with no one to talk to.I don't like bringing it up to my husband every time because he gets defensive. This is I. and I also, have a blended family, I have a 10y, boy; a 7y, boy; and a 5y boy. The key is to always listen, not to take sides and to be very patient and firm. I love this little ones, and I always try to show them to treat each other the same way that they want to be treated. Good luck

Not very often that you run into someone with a similar situation! I am a mother of five. I gave birth to three and stepmom to two more. Two 8yr old boys, two 4yr old boys, and one 6yr old girl. Yes, it is a very challenging job that takes just about all of 24hrs/day! I am sure we deal with many of the same issues. I work full time so my time with the family is needed when ever I am not at work. I am sure you understand how difficult it is to make plans to get together, but much needed.
