Hi everyone,
I have a 13 month old and have been interested in taking him to a playgroup, but have been having trouble finding one since Feltwell no longer has any at the community center. I know about MOPS, but are there any other ones out there?

What can I do next?

****** Saw today January 30th in the Brandon Life Paper ther is Tot Rock on Mondays 10:30 to 11:00 starting January 7th at the Brandon Leisure Centre. Free activity it says. If you come from Feltwell into Weeting than to Brandon go to the light right before Tesco's turn right. The Leisure Center is on the Right on the curve on Church Road behind the tennis courts.

RAF Mildenhall has a MOPS group that meets at the base chapel on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 10:00 to 11:30. The next one is Feb. 7th.

RAF Lakenheath has a playgroup every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 to 11:30 in the Youth Center Gym with toys and mats available. They start cleaning up around 11:15 so get there at 10:00 to visit and play.

RAF Lakenheath Services offers a Moms and Tots Morning Movies every Monday at 10 a.m. at the 48th Avenue Community Center located across from the bowling alley. The event is feww for moms and toddlers. Moms are required to remain with their children.

You might call RAF Mildenhall Youth Center to see if they have a playgroup like RAF Lakenheath.

Hope this helps. My kids are 10 to 18 years old.

Hi,
I lived in Beck Row until this past summer. We were at Mildenhall for 8 years. MOPS is great, and we really liked the Lakenheath playgroup that meets at the Youth Center. A small playgroup would meet at the Beck Row Community Center (next to the primary school) on Thurdsay mornings (10:00 maybe?). There was also a group of us that would meet at the Bob Hope Community Center at Mildenhall (the Play Zone). I can give you an e-mail of a good friend still there who has an 12-month old (well, almost).Let me know-good luck!

Hi,

I have an almost 2 yr old daughter. My husband is stationed at RAF Mildenhall. I am a stay at home mom in Ely. We attend a Jo Jingles class every week in Ely. Its a music and movement class. My daughter absolutely loves it. You can look it up at www.jojingles.com to see the times and prices.

Hello,
I have a 3 year old daughter and a 15 month old son. We live in the Thetford military development. The MAG(medical auxiliary group) has a playgroup and you do not have to be in the medical field to join. I am currently not a member of the playgroup, but I have some friends who are and I sometimes join them. They have playgroup every week during the summer months and usually every other week the rest of the year. It is normally a different place each time. There is also a nice indoor playground on Mildenhall right near the BXtra which is good for this time of year. I would be happy to get together sometime for a playdate. Take care.

I should really post this somewhere that everyone can see, but anyway, I run an online playdate group for moms and toddlers in our area. Check it out and join up =)!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/playdates-RAFL-RAFM/

I usually post a weekly schedule every Sunday of where my daughter, Ava (2), and I will be playing. I am trying to encourage others to do the same do there will be more options and times of playdates to suit everyone's needs.

Hope to see you there!
