I guess it depends on where you are located. I know a great one at around 43rd and Pinnacle Peak. But if you are in Gilbert or something, that wouldn't work, lol.
I am looking for recommendations for a good priced preschool for my 4 year old boy.It doesn't matter if it is in-home or not. Preferably something that has a well rounded jump-start curriculum for kindergarten. I forgot to mention we are in Surprse on the West side of the valley.

Where do you live? That will help people's recommendations.
There is a great preschool in NW peoria. It has a 7:1 ratio and is an academic preschool. The kids come out knowing all their letters and sounds and it even goes into beginning phonics with those who are ready. It is a half day program. The staff is very caring and great with the kids. There is usually a waiting list so I would call ahead. It is called Cross of Glory Preschool. The Phone number is ###-###-#### and the Web site is www.crossofglory.org I hope you find a great place for your son. Their first school experience is such an important one!
If I was still staying in The Phoenix area, I'd send my daughter to Bambini preschool. They have a language immersion program. Mandarin and Spanish. Full or part time. Reputed to be comparably priced with other preschools. Recently remodeled and reopened.
The gift of a foreign language is beyond compare, in my estimation.
PS: They hope to become a charter school to continue the language program into the early grades.
I know of an excellent preschool in the surprise area. It is near waddel and citrus. Its $30 registration fee and $85.00 a month for 2 days a week 2 and 1/2 hours a time. Or 120 a month for 3 days a week 2 and 1/2 hours a time. Let me know if you would like more info.
I am fond of Primrose Schools the Goodyear Campus is wonderful with a qualified director and adults as teachers. Their curriculum has developmental, cognitive and social components. I wish we lived closer, my kids would have gone there. Best, L. www.lynnekenney.com
I highly recommend Northwest Christian Preschool. http://www.nwccschool.org/earlyed.html. They are on 43rd Ave. just south of Bell Rd. Both my kids went there each for 2 years. If you aide twice a month in the classroom they discount the tuition $25 a month. Both my children loved going there and they were well prepared to start elementary school. It was a wonderful experience for all.
