I'm looking for recommendations for pediatricians in the area. I would like evening hours, clean office environment, and friendly staff.
Thanks everyone. I checked out 4 different pediatricians. Lower Bucks couldn't see me soon enough, so I couldn't check them out (time was of the essence as my 6 mo. son was missing his shots during all of this transition). I checked Dr. Margioti in Trevose but wasn't very excited about my meeting w/ him (I just felt like he was rushing me). I did try Kids First and really liked the Dr. I met w/. I ended up going w/ We Care Pediatrics near Oxford Valley Mall. The staff was nice and I really liked the waiting rooms. Thanks everyone for your responses.
We use Dr Borah behind the Oxford Valley Mall. He is great with kids. The staff is very friendly. I like the fact that he will see my son if he's not feeling well rather than just calling something in for him.
Hi G.! Welcome to the area. I highly recommend Newtown Medical Group ###-###-####), I make my daughter's appointments with Dr. Kulka or Jane, the nurse practitioner. They practice family medicine not just pediatrics. Also, they have evening and Saturday hours. Good luck and keep us posted!
We use KidsFirst Newtown for my son, who is 13 months. KidsFirst has all three of those things. There's also an after-hours nurse hotline that connects straight to CHOP, and a network of other offices in the PA/NJ/DE area. Everything is computerized, so I think (but I'm not sure) they could pull your file at any location you visited. There are 4 doctors in the practice; we've seen all of them, and like 3 out of the 4 very much. Our favorite is Dr. Julie Kardos.

I take my girls to Dr. Janis Halpern. The other doctor in the office is Dr. Victor Rivera. They are located in the St. Mary Medical Building next to the hospital. I'm not home so I don't know what the office hours are, but I believe they have at least one night where they are there until 7 pm. The office phone number is ###-###-####. I've never had a problem with the staff. Bonnie is the nurse and she's wonderful.
I also reccomend Kids Forst of Newtown...... I am happy with 3 out of 4 docs there.... I can always get an appointment, never have a problem with sseing the same doctor consistantly. As far as Saturday hours go , I'm not sure about that, but they are always available via phone at any hour of any day! I also work for Margiotti and Kroll peds they have 2 offices 1 in Newtown (Village of Newtown shopping center) and 1 in Trevose ,on street Road and on more ot open in October in Warrington, 5 doccs 2 nurse practioners a dietitian and a psychologist, open 365 days a year, yes that means Christmas, and Sundays for emergancies and every Saturday 9-5 for routine appointments and sick apps. Monday - Friday atleast 1 of the offices is usually open until 8pm. Walk in Hours Mon - Fri in both offices til 9am . look up convienence in the dictionary and it should say M& K peds.....lol The phone number is ###-###-####, 215-364-580.Good Luck....P.S. they do FREE consultations for parents and parents to be, so that you can go in meet a doctor or 2 see the offfice and meet some of hte staff.
