Titlow park in North Tacoma by the Narrows bridge is nice. They have a path that goes around the pond there for walking. My son loves to go there and see the ducks and every now and then the train goes by which is great for him!
We are new to the area and are looking for a safe big park where I can take the boys on a stroller ride and get some exercise for myself. I live in southern Tacoma, so something close by would be nice, but I'm not opposed to driving if need be. Any suggestions?!

Hi C.,
Ft. Steilacoom Park is in Lakewood. Lakewood is just south of Tacoma, around 15-20 minutes from Ft. Lewis.
It's a huge, great park with newer playground equipment and nice walking trails, and you could also walk around the lake(I believe it's a mile one trip around).
There are trails also, if you ever want to go on a challenging walk without the kids.
Hope that helps. :o)
