My daughter has gone to Step by Step Montessori on hwy 169 and Cty Rd 9. It's a wonderful place and she loves it. We have watched her learn and grow there.

St. David's in Minnetonka is supposed to be very good. Many Mom's in my area recommend it. They have a program for 2yr olds, they are none religious (despite the name), however they are very expensive. They run about $240 for 2 days and at this point you probably would not be able to get your children into it, unless they are special needs.

I am opening a Montessori preschool run from my home(Brooklyn park area). I am a licensed daycare provider, trained Montessori teacher, and have a Masters degree in Education. I will follow the Montessori curriculum for children ages 3-6. Little Hands Preschool is open from 7:30-6:00pm weekdays. Children will have 2 snacks and lunch through a food program. I would love to show you my preschool and talk more about the Montessori philosophy and set up a visit.

I am not sure if you want a full-day experience, but I will tell you that my daycare, Children's World, has a SUPERB pre-school or as they call it, Pre-K program. My daughter is of that age right now. Her teacher, Ms. Flo, has been teaching there for 19 years and prior to that, she was a high-school math teacher. After doing the Open House for the Kindergarten program at the elem. school she will go to, I was so excited to see that she will be so ready for Kindergarten. Ms. Flo definitely pushes them! They also offer a Hooked On Phonics program for $35 a month--which is 2-3 sessions a week--heck of a deal!
