Looking for Summer Day Camp Recommendations

Try the YMCA they usually run day camp programs. I would also look into your district sometimes the recreation program runs summer day camp. I live in Rutherford and they have a YMCA program as well as a recreation program. Good luck!!

I don't have kids that age, so I have not tried any of them. However, the Y at Ridgewood has some very intresting camp programs. You should check them out.

I can highly recommend the Summer Camp at the YMCA in Wyckoff. They have a lake-like swimming pool and part of the camp is swimming every day. The camp is very well organized and the kids really spend their summer outside.

Seems like everyone is recommending the Y - my son will be going to camp through the Y in Hackensack. They bus the kids up to Harriman State Park where they swim and do outdoor things. It will be his first year (he's 6) but it was highly recommended by a friend who has sent her daughter there for a long time.

I also do know people who have used the Y's in Ridgewood and East Rutherford and liked them.
