i am looking for someone to come to our home and teach my 3.5 year old daughter swim lessons. we live in plano near coit and 121. preferably female instructor in the afternoon or evening.
thanks for all the great info. i personally didn't have good luck with emler, but have heard great things about them. i have her signed up for something elsewhere later summer, so really only looking for someone who will come to our home and teach her in our pool for now. just one less thing to get to with a 16 mo old and still not feeling great at 20 weeks preg! i did call the 2 referrals (ann/hannah & kelley) for this you listed and waiting to hear back! thanks again

Talk to the swim instructors at the local YMCA/Plano Rec centers.
Unfortunately, she doesn't come to your home - but may be close. She is at Coit and Hedgcox. Mary (Ms. Mimi) Conner and was absolutely wonderful with my boys last year (who were then 2 yrs and 4 yrs). If you want contact info, please PM me and I will send.

Look into the Emler School for Swimming that is located on Park and Ohio. I've heard great things about them and they work with kids this age.
