I am wondering if anyone knows of a great place that offers lessons for a 1 year old. I want him to get used to water now. I would prefer a place that offers private lessons but group is okay too. Thank you!

We took my daughter to CalElite in Rancho Santa Margarita. We really like the facility and they offer lots of classes as she grows up from swimming to tumbling and dance. They even have a few fitness classes for adults.

I would highly recommend the swim venture in laguna hills. I started my daughter in mommy and me and already she's so advanced they're saying she's ready for the next step. There's all sorts of lessons private and semi private. There's a 2 year old there that can totally full on swim and I was so impressed. This month the mommy and me is free so I would definately take them up on it to try it out and probably like me you'll be hooked. It's at 10 am and you have to sign up online at swimventure.com first. Check it out. I love it and so does my daughter.

The Australian swim school is great and affordable. They are located everywhere just look them up on the web. my daughter is 2 and can swim alone no problems. She started there just before she turned 1 and it was in a less than 6 months and she was swimming by herself. I am confidant that if she fell in the pool, she can definitely swim to the side. They are excellent.
