Looking for Swimming Lessons in the South Arlington Area for a 3-Year-old

Hello,

My daughter is 3 years old and I really want her to take swimming lessons this summer. Several years ago, my neighbor's son took lessons at a private pool from some people who guaranteed that your child would learn how to float, go to the bottom and retrieve an object and jump off a diving board (to an adult in the water). Since that place is no longer around, I wonder if anyone knows of something similar in the Arlington area. I really want my daughter to learn some significant swimming skills and not just blowing bubbles and getting her face wet. Of course, private lessons are expensive so I'd like a price estimate. I'm totally open to public lessons, but I just want to make sure she would learn something. I definitely am looking in south Arlington or Mansfield only.

Thanks!
M.

It has been some time since my daughter took swim lessons, but if they are still in business I highly recommend, Bryan's Swim School ###-###-####. Bryan at the time was a swim coach/teacher for Nolan High School. He offers private lessons and they are located in South Arlington near
I-20/Kelly Elliot/Park Springs area.

Try the Cliff Nelson rec. center. They have swim lessons. Go to the arlington parks and recreation website. They have the # to it. It is off of Kelly Elliot road. They also do gymnastics, cheerleading, art, basketball, etc. for the young ones. It's very affordable!
