Hi Moms! Just looking for some insight. I am on my 5th month of clomid. Have a 3 year old (naturally, but a long time), a 1 year old (1st month clomid). I am usually very regular (28 days) except for one of these past months on Clomid, I was 2 days late. I am now 3 days late and have had 2 negative tests. I thought I got my period, so I put a tampon in, but I could tell that it was dry so I took it out after a few hours and it was completely clean. I have been taking naps in the afternoon, which I never do unless preggo. My breasts are a little sore, but could be just PMS. They were horrible with my first, and not bad at all with my second. I don't know what to do. I know if I call the doc, they are gonna tell me to wait a week and I go next week for my annual anyway. Anybody have any issues like this? It is driving me nuts. Either come or give me a positive test. This is my last month on clomid, so we were really hoping it worked. We have 2 beautiful kids, so we wouldn't go any farther with fertility. We did it once on our own, so if it was meant to be... I just wanted to see if anyone else had this experience and what you did. Thanks for listening.
I bought these early pregnancy test strips online and they measured a positive result when I was about 3 weeks along. I have VERY IRREGULAR periods so I didn't want to be surprised like I was with my first. I bought them at earlypregnancytests.com. It sounds like you might be pregnant, only a woman knows her own body and if you've been pregnant before, you know, :)

When I was first pregnant with my first son, I was in Vegas. I didn't know I was pregnant, but knew we were trying. So, while there, I went to CVS and bought a test. It came up negative. That night I spotted and figured I got my period. I even ordered my first drink since I knew I was in the clear. With all the Vegas excitement, I didn't realize that my period was suddenly gone. Only that one night. So, three days after I got my period I took another test. POSITIVE. I guess it was implantation bleeding or something.

I am one 17 year old son. It took us 6 years to be blessed with him. I had missed my period 3 months in a row and we thought is was just nerves but the Doctor decided to final do some more test and I went to the hospital to have the dye test done. But they have to test for pregnancy first and found out I was with child. I said how could that be? She said sometime women under great pressures don't really get a full period. the body sometimes shuts down for some reason. We never were blessed again but that is OK.
So your nerves may be doing that to you right now. Try getting some me time and put on some mood music and take that long nap.

Keep taking the tests, with my second one I had to take numberous tests to get positive. I also was over a week late!! My husband thought I was nuts. It sounds to me you might be expecting, I will keep my fingers crossed.
I believe the standard advice on the back of the pregnancy test box is if you get a neg. wait a few days or a week and try again if no period. Also, even though the pregnancy tests say you do not have to do them in the morning, most nurses will tell you that the preg. hormones are most concentrated in your urine first thing in the morning. When I went in for a pregnancy test for my 2nd, the nurse told me they only test in the morning.
