I go to the one in bedford. Hope this helps ya!
Does anyone know of any water workout classes or had any experiences with one? I was waiting for the Mansfield Natatorium to start their class but it seems they are having a little trouble finding an instructor. Also was wondering if these water workout classes require you to have any type of workout equipment (i.e. water weights, etc.). I tried to call the 24-hr fitness in Mansfield but you can't seem to talk with a live person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have done "aquafit" classes at LA Fitness and I love it. All equipment needed is provided. I think there is an LA Fitness off I-20 in Grand Prairie.
Huguley fitess center has a great water aerobics program. I was an instructor there for 3 years. They provide all equipment for you and they have child care available there free with your membership. (they will give you a 2 week trial membership for free) their facility is great! Good luck!
Hi K., my name is T. and I am the Aerobics Coordinator for LA Fitness Grand Prairie off of 20 and Great Soutwest. We offer water aerobics classes five times a week. On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, our classes are at 9am. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays, our classes are at 6pm. Aqua aerobics is a great, low impact workout. Our aqua classes last about an hour. We offer childcare as well. And you don't need to bring any equipment. We provide everything you'll need. If you like, I can get you a free pass to come and try out a few of our classes and you can decide if its what you're looking for. Just let me know!
HI, I do water aerboics at 24 hour fitness in ft. worth and all the eqipment is provided, water weights, noodles, and water boards. I love it however I just started back tues and I am soooo sore from the water weights and using my calves so much! The only thing I hate is that the water is sooo cold. They say its a heated pool, but thats not true.
The Central Branch YMCA in Arlington has classes Mon-Thurs @ 7:10pm to 8pm. They provide all of the equipment. The pool is outdoors.
Grand Prairie's Natatorium is located off of Corn Valley just south of South Grand Prairie High. I don't know if that is too far of a drive or not, but it is a great program. They don't use weights, but boy do you get a work out!

i work for 24 hour fitness and if you hit the 0 button when the automated system comes on you will be transferred to a service rep. The water classes are amazing, full of comraderie, laughter, strength training, therapy and a great way to work every muscle in your body. I hope you give us a try!--Jen DiMarco
I dont know where you are but here in Burleson the Huguley Fitness Center next to the hospital offers Water Aerobic classes. I have attended them for 3 years there and think they are really great. Good Luck
Grand Prairie has a Natatorium and they do offer water aerobics. Just not sure if that is farther than you want to drive.
Check out http://www.differentstrokesswimschool.com. Beverly Gammon is the owner. Her number is ###-###-####. She should know what is available in the Mansfield area.
water aerobics is great! I haven't done it in forever, though; but loved it when i did. Usually, the facility has the equipment. I do recommend getting some light-weight water shoes. Gyms that have pools often offer classes. You might try the YMCA; they sometimes have classes.
Good luck!
