I joined a group in my area through a web site called "meetup.com". Take a look at it, I am sure you will find plenty of groups in your area that you can become a part of. Good luck.

We try to go to the at least once a week, I have a 2.5 yr old boy and a 15 mo old girl. If you want we can set up a regular daya and time to meet. What works best for you afternoons or mornings? We are pretty flexible.

Hi, there! I would love to get together to Zoo walk- lots of great hills there! My schedule is pretty flexible. Weekends would be fine too. I have two little ones (son 16 months and daughter 2 months) who could use fresh air and sunshine as much as I could use some exercise. Funny a friend and I are going to the zoo today----but i don't have a membership---but she does. We should all get together one day---I am seeing a Dr. today about referring me to a nutritionist. To loose weight. I have tapes and a treadmill, not to mention the little gym in my complex, but no one to work out with. I have a 12 month old and no one really seems to have just one child or one around his age. And whats worse, my husband is a healthy looking, gym goer. i really need a serious buddy, but i have top, bottom and middle to loose. If serious--get back to me.

Awwwe, I would love to go to the zoo with you, R.!!!! I have a daughter, almost 14 months old, who turned one on January 16th. her name is emilee, and she's never been to the zoo. I have some friends at her daycare who also have memberships, so I need to get together with them. My daughter and thier kids play together regularly. I have a really un-excersized bottom, I can't use the excuse that I just had a baby anymore!!! I'm just being lazy now, and would love to meet up with someone, since that provides me with the accountability to not back out because my favorite tv show is on!!! Let me know when's good for you. I don't have any plans after this weekend, but this weekend is packed with a baby shower and tax stuff, and another meeting later on saturday. so, maybe in a couple of weeks we can go? or maybe even just meet up in the morning for a stroll in the park? Then, our kids can play for a little while at the small equipment or on the baby swings? Let me know what you think:0)

I'm interested! However, my little guy (26 months) will want to walk as well so it wouldn't be what I would consider a "real workout." Wednesday or Thursday work best for me...but, I have some flexibility. I also prefer mornings.
