I am realtively new to Yuba city and I've been a SAHM for the past several months and I am looking to meet other moms with infants around the same age as my son to develope friendships and bonds with; we try to be very social and outgoing when we do things. My son needs to interact with others and I need to chat with moms too. We are christian and have looked at religous groups but are not sure if that is for us or not. Basically, we're just looking to meet moms and babies alike and foster a friendship. Are there any groups or others out there looking for the same?

There are a bunch of groups out there but there is on call Stay at home moms in Yuba city area. We try to meet about once a week or so for play group.
On another note, I would love to meet some time. I have a 6yr girl, 4yr girl, and a 6m boy. I will also send you a message with my info in it.

Have you looked into any moms group in your area? Moms in Motion is one I've heard about but don't belong to. I am active in my moms group in Plumas Lake (about 15-20mins from YC). You don't have to be a Plumas Lake resident to join and it's a lot of fun. You can check us out at www.plumaslakemoms.com.
I also run a Baby Boot Camp business. It is stroller fitness for prenatal and postpartum moms. I was just awarded a mini-grant by Sutter County Children and Families Commission so I am offering FREE classes for the month of July in Yuba City. You have to be a Sutter County resident and be able to attend six of the eight offered classes.
It is a great way to meet other moms and get in shape. We usually stay and let the kids play after or go grab a cup of coffee. Let me know if you'd be interested in joining us. Space is limited.

Hi R., my name is M. and my son and I belong to a group in Yuba City called MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). They are a Christian based group - there are actually two groups that I belong to, one meets at the North Valley Calvary Chapel off of Bogue Rd and the other meets at the Nazarene off George Washington. They will resume meetings in September but have MANY playdates and BBQ's, ect going on during the summer to keep everyone active and meeting new members and stuff. Hi R.! I am also new to Yuba City and a SAHM to my 1 year old son. It has been very hard for me to find and meet new people. I am so excited I just found this website and found there are ohter moms actually in Yuba City, and not just in the surrounding areas.
