Looking to Start a Play Group on Pope & Fort Bragg

I think that would be a wonderful idea. My husband is stationed there but because of my employment issues I won't be there until the end of february. I am pregnant with out second child now, so I am not planning on returning to work when I get there and we have a wonderful 4 year old son who just simply loves to play. I think the idea of him being a part of a play group would be a good thing for him since he will no longer be going to daycare, and i don't want him to lose that social interaction he needs from being with other children. He is such a wonderful sweet boy and he really does enjoy making new friends. I think it would be really good for me too, because we don't know very many people down there, and I am pretty shy, so this would be a good chance for me to make new friends as well.

I have a 3 yr old daughter, a 1 yr old, and I am preggers with my 3rd. I would love to start a playgroup, I haven't been able to find much either, and I have lived on Bragg for 2 yrs. I also have a friend who has a 2.5 yr old who would be interested as well. Send me a message if you would like to get together at a park or something and we can meet and see how the kids all do together.

I would love to be a part of a play group. I live on the North side of Fort Bragg. I have a 3 1/2 year old little boy and a 7 month old little boy!! I am a stay at home mom also, who would love to have some other moms to talk to as well!! :)

Hi, I have a 7yr old daughter and a 3 1/2 yr old boy and a 1 1/2 yr old boy, we are not on Ft. Bragg, but are close. I have recently had several of my very close friend pcs as well as having my husband deploy just over 3 weeks ago to start a 16 month tour in Afhganistan. I am so lonely and my kids are going stir crazy. I would love to be part of a play group if you are starting one.

there are accually a couple of play groups in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area. There are alot of military mommies in these groups, you can find a couple here on this website. http://moms.meetup.com/1587/ Hope that helps.
