Replace 2 meals with high fiber, low sugar cereal. When you need a snack, eat a small bowl. Make sure the cereal has 5 or more grams of fiber and try to stay less than 5 grams of sugar. I have to have a little sugar in mine, or I won't eat it. I started this a week before Christmas and lost about 5 pounds... then Christmas hit. The candy threw me off, but I started the cereal thing because I knew it would. Now I'm back to my starting weight, still having a bit of trouble with the dark chocolate... mmm dark chocolate.... but I'm getting there. It's something to try. If you can't stand cereal, try replacing 2 of your meals a day with something else, like a turkey sandwich on highfiber bread with veggies and no cheese. They say that eliminating your choices as much as possible for at least one meal a day helps. I chose cereal because it gives me a lot of energy and keeps me full for quite a while.

Drink lots of water. Eat higher fiber foods and more protein. I myself am doing LA Weight Loss and since Sept. I've lost just under 30lbs. Its really easy to follow, but like NutriSystem it is sort of pricey. With LA Weight Loss though you get to cook and eat your own foods, nothing is pre-packages except the nutrion bars (which I'm now told you can go without because they cost extra) and some of the snacks they sale).

I've been on Nutrisystem for about 2 1/2 months now and have lost 17 lbs so far. I decided to try it because my sister lost 70 lbs on their diet. It is pricey, but it works if you follow it. Several women in my family have had lots of success with Weight Watchers also.

Are you nursing by chance? Nursing my son really helped me. Unfortunately I only had about 15 lbs to go (which is great after gaining almost 60 in pregnancy!) when I found out I was pregnant again! The nursing helped to burn calories, but then just trying to make better choices helped me...little things like when going out to eat I would choose water instead of soda, skim milk instead of 2%, choosing low fat or half the sugar choices of things I usually ate, 2% cheeses, 100% whole wheat breads and pastas instead of white, etc. You'll be amazed at how much small choices like that can help you. For exercise I would (and still do) do things like get in 5-10 min. at a time of squats or lunges or lifting handweights while watching tv. But remember you're only 4 months out from childbirth! It will come off, but it really takes a while for your body to recover from having a baby, so whatever you do, don't starve yourself of the nutrients you need. Focus more on feeding your body healthy things instead of junk, and even if it comes off a little slower than you'd like, you'll feel better and be doing a better thing for your body! Plus, if you make small changes like the ones I was talking about, you're much more likely to stick with it!

Drink lots of water. It will keep you with a full feeling and cleanse your body of toxins. Also when I feel like snacking I look for an area of the house that needs some cleaning and dive into the project. I also have a "self rule" that I don't sit for too long to do anything and if I have to I schedule this for one day so as not to get in the habit of couch potatoeing. lol
