Honey there is no magical way...keep trying things til something works for you! As you get older it gets harder!
My son is now 10 months old and i cant see to get rid of my baby fat. Does anyone know an easy way to lose weight and to lose my baby fat? I tried to breast feed but i didnt like it. I take my son on a walk mostly every day, drink lots of water, and try and watch what i eat. i dont even eat that much either. My lil man keeps me busy all the time so its hard to try and exercise. i am a younge mom. also i have been trying to do sit up everyday too.
Kari i did try to breast feed but i wasnt a fan of it i didnt like it some ppl like doing and some dont.

As a former breastfeeding mama to 3 children....
It didn't help me lose one. single. pound.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. For SOME women it helps and for SOME women it doesn't.
I was ravenous and gained weight.
Now, onto the question. How much are you looking to lose? Is it just a couple of pounds? Sometimes after we have children our bodies just don't want to go back to pre-baby. It sucks. But, if you work HARD and really get pumping it may work. But, your baby is still young. Unless you have gained a TON of weight can I just suggest continuing the walks and healthy eating and enjoying your son?

breast feeding.
consuming less calories than you use...
There is NO instant fix.
No snarkiness intended, but no one would carry weight, if it were easy.
You need to eat less. Don't eat anything white. White bread, white rice, white noodles, etc. They are just sugar. Watch for things that are deceptively unhealthy. Cereals, yogurts, granola, protein bars, health drinks. These things often have tons of sugar and calories. Don't drink sodas, or sugary drinks. . Snack smart, fresh fruits and veggies, a little cheese, a small handful of nuts. Control your portions. Always have more veggies on your plate, then anything else. Fiber is really important. Eat dark leafy greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts. I have a friend who was complaining about holding onto weight, and then told me she doesn't eat any vegetables!! If you aren't getting several servings of fruits (actual fruit, not juice) and veggies a day...your diet is not nearly balanced enough.
Are you breaking a sweat and breathing hard when you walk? If not, it's not burning any calories. Your heart rate needs to get up, beating fast, sweating, breathing hard.
The point being, people typically THINK they are eating right and exercising, but they usually aren't. Eating right requires whole foods, nothing from a box, can, bag, etc. Exercising, requires really pushing yourself. Not a leisurely walk.
Too bad you didn't even try breast feeding "cuz i wasn't a fan of that".
If you had you would likely be concerned you were getting too thin at this point or at least close to your pre-baby weight.
Less food, more exercise is the only way to go at this point. If you have another one do yourself and your baby a favor and either give breastfeeding a try or come up with a better reason NOT to.
And the short answer to that million dollar question is simply eat less, exercise more and repeat. I'm not trying to be a smarty pants because I know how difficult this feat is. Just keep up what you are doing, add in some weight training for a better burn, eat more lean protein, fruits, vegetables and whole grains and cut out the junk food as much as possible. In time, you will see the weight disappear and your child will likely reap the benefits of healthy habits too. Good luck!

You kinda need to give more info for receiving any kind of advice. First of all, what are you doing to lose the wait? Once we know that, we can offer suggestions.
For me it was a combination of breastfeeding and counting calories. Breastfeeding helped a ton. But then I always needed to count calories to get those last few pounds off. Basically you just write down everything you eat and the calorie amount. There are lots of sights online that can tell you any calorie amount for food that doesn't have it on the package. Or for fruits, veggies etc. A good amount to eat to lose weight fast is to stay around 1200 calories but you could still lose weight staying around 1400 too. And if you haven't dieted a lot it might be easier to start at 1400. But if you stick to that you will lose weight. good luck!

first off- keep at it.
I had twins and didn't breast feed- in my early 40's and lost the weight.
You can do this.
think of your plate as a painting. most should be colorful- the only thing tan on it is your meat.
Corn however tends to be a starch and you only want one serving of starchy food a day. If eating a sandwich for a meal- eat it open face.
5-7 servings of fruit or veggies.
75-100gm of protein a day. the easiest way to do this is shakes. We have a tried and true one (many olympiads use) that works if you're interested.
A mulitvitamin cut in half consuming half twice a day- or one that you take more than once a day.
80 oz of water a day minimum- more in heat and exercise.
You don't say your height- 5'4 or less- you need to eat 1200 calories and exercise. 5'7 or more you can eat 1200 and do this without exercise but you will be better off with it. 1200 calories net! food minus exercise calories. If you starve your body will store fat and burn lean mass.
Most of all- keep at it.

Eat less, move more and drink more water. Also, if you are active on Facebook, search for the group: "Be My Diet Buddy". Its an online support group for people fighting the battle of weight loss and has lots of tips and support from others going thru the same thing. Good luck!
eating basically nothing isnt going to help you.. it actually slows down your metabolism.. its better to eat like5 small meals throughout the day instead of a typical breakfast lunch and dinner- 3 big meals.. i know 2 years ago i stopped drinking anything except water ate small meals and stopped eating after dinner, that was a big one for me .. but i did exercise... i would do 45 minutes on my eliptical every other day and i actually lost weight pretty quickly .. i definatley hear u my little one is only 2 weeks and i cringe when i look in the mirror i cant wait to get back on the eliptical again.. i dont know about you but unless i exercise it takes forever for the weight to come off with just diet alone
In addition to watching what you eat, you of course need exercise. I've been trying this program (off and on as I am horrible at sticking with an exercise schedule!):
They have programs for some other exercises too, but I thought pushups would be a good start to work different muscles at once. One day I will get there... one day.... LOL
no don't know an easy way. I know a hard way; create a calorie deficit. Try eating your basal (resting) metabolism. Mine is about 1430 calories. You'll need a food journal, measuring cups, spoons, and food scale. Its a pain in the rear, but a good way to make sure you eat less than you burn.
In addition to diet and exercise, water. Drinking enough water will flush out and detox your system, and it'll control your appetite. A lot of what we think is hunger is actually thirst.
Also, if you have any possibility of producing milk at this stage, please give breastfeeding another try. It's okay if you don't enjoy it. You may hate it. It's not for you, it's for your son. Babies need breastmilk for their immune systems. There is no substitute for those immunoglobins. Sorry to lecture, but this is important.
Exercise videos. You can do them at home. Three times a week for 45 minutes each and you'll firm your muscle and lose weight.
