Loss of Pregnancy Symptoms at 10 Weeks

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have lost all symptoms of pregnancy- no nausea, smells don't bother me, not constipated, sleeping fine. I have thought for the past week that my baby has not survived. I had an ultrasound today and my baby is fine!!! I am sooooo relieved, but now I'm worried because I still have no symptoms. My first pregnancy I was sick most of the way through. I know they say all pregnancies are different, but I feel completely UNpregnant. Has anyone else had this experience?

What can I do next?

Yes, my three pregnancies were totally wonderful. Only the last trimester was a bit unconfortable because of the babies weight. Never knew what nausea was. Hope you have a similar one now.

Hopefully this will put your mind at ease and not worry you more. During my 2nd pregnancy I loss all symptoms of pregnancy right after I miscarried (doctor confirmation and loss of the baby). But you already had your ultrasound, and it showed the baby was fine...so I wouldn't worry.

My first pregnancy was really rough, with morning sickness, nausea, tired all the time, etc. And thankfully, each subsequent pregnancy has been easier and easier. In fact, I am pregnant with my 3rd and had almost NO symptoms at all. So much so, I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was really late (we weren't trying either, so even more of a surprise!).

I wouldn't worry. Everything seems to be going fine. Consider yourself lucky that this pregnancy is appearing to be much easier on you than the first!

Congrats!

With my first 2 pregnancies I had no symptom (other than a misssed period) for the first 12 weeks. My second timesters were riddled with nausea, sensitivity to smelss and exhaustion. With my third I felt pregnant as you described it even before I missed my period! If you had an ultrasound and the doctor said everything is fine - enjoy it while you can! :)

I was the same as you. I felt my husband was more pregnant than me because I wasn't having any symptoms and he was. Don't worry about it! Your body is handling it differently. Enjoy it!

Hey There,

Try this for UNpregnant...I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 28 weeks. Surprise!!!! All was well in the end.

Good Luck!

Each pregnancy can be quite different. I had five and none of them were alike. With the first one I was nauseated for the first two months. With some of the others I had no nausea, and with one the nausea came during the middle months.

Enjoy your time without symptoms as long as you know the baby is fine.

with my first i had nothing int he first trimester, i was so worried to get the heartbeat checked because i as afraid of the worst. but i had a healthy baby boy. now with my second i was nauseous and run down from week 3 now i am in my 15th week and if it weren't for the fact that i can feel it move i would be worried too because it was like magic everything disappeared. you are lucky, i know it is hard to not worry but soon you will start to see the obvious signs that the baby is doing fine :)

Good Morning! When I had gotten pregnant with my son back in 1987 I had NO symptoms of my pregnancy except weight gain. No craving, no morning sickness, ect throughout my whole pregnancy! He was born just fine; and today he is a very healthy and happy, and made Mom really Proud son, who just returned from Military duty as a US Marine! He is my biggest blessing from God above; and he is my miracle baby! It was also a huge blessing that I didn't suffer the normal symptoms of a pregnancy! I was working the morning he was born! Please lay your fears to rest! God bless you and your baby!!!
Sincerely,
Kathy N.

If your doctor has told you that your baby is okay, and you feel good...then relax Mom !! I have three children and ALL three were different....my last pregnancy was sooo beautiful. My pregnancy symtoms, like yours, went a-way with in the first couple of weeks....my labor wasn't even bad...and that child (she's 6 now)...is the most well adjusted happy kid in-the-world !!

Enjoy yourself !!

Do not worry... every pregnancy IS different. My 1st pregnancy I did not have any symptoms at all ...I found out because of the little symptoms... you know, being sleepy all the time and no period. My second I had a backache most of the full pregnancy everything stunk... I did not even want to work..so hang in there and enjoy!!!!

As you said yourself, every pregnancy is different. Just be thankful that you aren't sick the way you were before and enjoy your pregnancy. Your songram showed your baby is fine and sonograms don't lie. If you are still worried make an appointment with your Dr and go in and talk to him and listen to your baby's heart beat. The best thing you can do for your baby is relax and don't stress out.

Do not worry! In no time you will start to not be able to wear any clothes you used to. Then you will really feel pregnant. Every pregnancy is different, just like every child is different. Congratulations! Do not worry this is all very normal.

My first pregnancy, I was sick and tired (literally) for the whole first trimester. The second trimester, I not only felt better--I felt better than I had in my entire life. I had more energy, no smells bothered me--it was great! By the third trimester, I was beginning to slow down again--not sick, but tired more. If your doctor is not worried, I wouldn't be. Like you said, every pregnancy is different.

Mine was exactly the same. The first 10 weeks I was miserable, and then...it just went away. I was paranoid & worried until every appointment when I could hear the baby's hb.

No worries! I think you're probably just luckier than most of us. During my first pregnancy, I began feeling much better at about 14-15 weeks - exactly as you described. Most of us start to feel that way in the second trimester. Since you've had the ultrasound and everything looks good, I think you're just lucky that your body is recovering toward the end of the first trimester instead of in the second one. Yay!

I can't say I've ever experienced this; I have one daughter, and am trying to conceive again, but I have read time and time again that every pregnancy is different. And, you know that stress is not good for the baby (who is more than likely just fine!) So, stop stressing yourself! You don't want to become a self-fulling prophecy... (Meaning you might cause what you are concerned about, so relax.) Keep seeing your doc, call them if you are concerned, and when they tell you the baby is fine - believe them. Maybe some calming activities can help (reading, a warm bath, lighting candles, get a foot rub from a loved one?) whatever strikes you. :) Enjoy your pregnancy.

This happened to me too (I'm 13 weeks). I completely freaked out until I had an ultrasound and saw the baby was just fine. Once I knew the baby was fine I was excited about not having symptoms anymore...then they came back. They've been coming and going since then. I'll go 4 days with nothing and have 2 or 3 bad days. The bad days are getting less as I'm at the end of the hard period (the symptoms stopped completely with my first at 14 weeks so that's been my marker even though I know it may be different this time around). Seems when I get worked up emotionally, whether it's stress or crying for no reason (fun, fun) is when they are at their worst. Other than that I think I'm out of the full days of ickyness. So don't worry about it. Just keep taking care of yourself and your baby and everything will be fine.
