Maid Brigade or Other "Green" Cleaning Services

I've been using Merry Maids for a while, but I'm not all that thrilled with them. We've had several scheduling errors and they only do a so-so job on the house. I'd also like to start using a "green" cleaning service. I've seen ads on mamasource for Maid Brigade. Has anyone used them? What do you think? Can anyone recommend another green cleaning service/person? I live in St. Paul.

What can I do next?

I just signed up with Maid Brigade. They did their first initial "deep clean" last week, and I was mostly satisfied. But they did miss a few spots, like a couple of window sills and part of the floor around the base of a toilet. I am giving them another chance. If they are more meticulous next time, I'll keep 'em. Otherwise I'll try Molly Maid because they quoted me a cheaper estimate (although they are not "green")

Hi L.!
I am not actually witha cleaning company but do have experience with residential cleaning and am very detailed as well as reasonably priced. I am familiar with some "green" cleaning, but mainly just would have you supply the product and etc that you would want used in your home and then come a do the cleaning for you. Let me know if you are still in need of help. I am not working as of a week ago so I have a flexible schedule.
You can email me at ____@____.com. I live in the Shoreview area but am willing to travel.

I used to use (before I had a baby and still worked outside of the home) Dirty Deeds (owned by Bonnie Gardner) ###-###-####. She did a great job and used natural cleaning products that she usually made herself.

Hi L.,
My husband and I used Maid Brigade for about a year. I would not recommend them. We had to cancel our service with them because they were really h*** o* our furniture and floors with their vacuums. They ended up ramming their vacuums into our brand new leather furniture because they were and such a hurry. They left big scuff marks that we had to have repaired as a result. I was home a few times and they would bang their vacuums into our walls as well. I also had a couple books stolen of all things. The owner on the other hand is really nice. I just don't trust the people he hires.
