You can also have this done at ULTA. I wear the Bare Minerals make up and I went to ULTA to have a "facial" done to see what color I needed.

Hi Moms,
I have no knowledge about makeup and makeup products. Also, i dont know the procedure like which one to apply first and how much,..like that. I want to know is there any consultant available in store/mall so that i can go and check with them. I want to know which foundation color(dont know the exact term), lipstick color will match my complexion. I just want to wear a little makeup to hide the red dots, facial hair in my face.
Thanks!
Everyone came up with great advices. Thank you for all of your inputs and I am gonna try your ideas one by one.
Have a happy Mothers' Day!!!!

You can have makeovers done at the department store's makeup counters. You might do a trial run and see who's makeup you like, then ask for that person to do a consultation for you. You're not usually required to pay or buy something, but it's kind of understood that you will buy a little something to compensate for their time. MAC has great makeup, will stay on all day. I use their makeup, and Clinique's skincare (soap, toner, mosturizer).

Hi! R., my name is P.. I can help you with your makeup! I have been a Mary Kay consultant for 20 plus years and in the process, I have trained several times with makeup artist. So, I can take you step by step on skin care and makeup application to achieve the look that you want. My services are complimentary. I can come to you or you can come to me. Give me a call at 972-869-269 or ____@____.com can also checkout my website...www.marykay.com/pcooley1 (there is even a virtual makeover that you can try!)
It's best when you don't have children with you but any consultant at the major dept. stores (Macy's, JCPenney's, etc.) can help you. I went to Northpark one day & was offered a free makeover. I had my daughters with me so I had to bribe them with cookies from Starbucks & they just sat on the floor & ate them while I had the makeover. Of course, they would like you to show some interest in their products but I just simply say, "thank you but another time". They even had a picture of a face & applied the makeup & listed the colors on it for me to take home so if I ever came back to buy I would know which ones to buy (that had looked good on me).
Always go usually right when the store opens or times you think not many people are in the store (don't go during lunchtime hours). This will just allow you more personal time with the consultants.
Everyone's ideas are great. My advice would be to have a consultant apply make-up. Buy a lipstick or gloss or something not to spendy so they don't get annoyed with you. But make sure you see the makeup on your face in the sunlight. The lights in department stores can be decieving.
Have fun and good luck! Try not to become a make-up addice like me! I love love love trying new eyeshadows and stuff! Sephora is my playground!!!
Try Nordstrom's...any makeup there you can get a makeover. MAC is really good.

If you don't want to feel like you are wearing a lot of makeup, I would suggest mineral makeup. I get mine at Ulta and someone there can help you find a color and teach you how to apply it.
I used to use a tinted moisturizer from Aveda. Aveda has shops in most malls like Willow Bend or Frisco. I'm not sure where you are, but look up their website.
One suggestion I have is when trying to find someone to help you with your makeup, look at how they apply their own makeup. If you don't like how they look, you may not like how they apply makeup on you.
As for the facial hair, I get mine threaded. It doesn't cost that much and it lasts a few weeks. I do that at Styles of India in Las Colinas off 635. I think they have a few locations.
Good luck dear!
