We should talk! Since about August I have been seeing doctors for chronic migraines and vertigo. I have had more tests than I ever thought possible! I am finally on a medication that seems to be working, but it did take seeing a Neurologist to get everything figured out.
I first saw my GP, then an ENT, had some tests done for middle ear infections, etc. for the dizziness, when that didn't show anything...on to the Neurologist. He started me on Topamax, at a low dose...at first no help. I had an MRI and MRA... showed a possible anuerism, but nothing conclusive to why I was have DAILY migraines for 3MONTHS! We increased the Topamax, headaches decreased slightly. Went for a CT scan and dye study to rule out the anuerism...still waiting on the results, but since increasing the Topamax again....headaches are now down from DAILY to maybe every 2 weeks, no more dizziness. I occasionally notice some of the side effects of the drug, but in comparison to the headaches I was having they are very tolerable! I would love to refer you to my Neurologist if you are interested in talking to him...he helped me tremendously! Otherwise...maybe you could just ask your doctor if Topamax might work for you....
Good luck!
