I think the problem is that there are more people out there who want to do it than there are jobs. Lots of people fall for the advertisements that you can make good money and work from home, which is true in some cases, but not always. I work at a hospital and those jobs rarely come open that often. And with hospitals and doctor's offices moving to digital/paper-less records (thanks to federal gov't support/funding and new rules), the jobs will most like get fewer and fewer.

If you've taught Spanish, what about being a Spanish tutor? Students and adults alike are always looking to learn the language (whether it's to get better grades or a better job). It's not exactly the "work in your pajamas" kind of job, but you can set your own hours and work from home.

contact any community college. You have to be certified to be a MT. They offer certification classes which I beleive can all be done on-line. My friend is an MT and she makes pretty good money. I think her professor gave her some job leads after she recieved her cert.
