The recall is only for products made by McNeil pharmaceuticals - the manufacturer's name will be on both the cardboard packaging and the label on the bottle.
Of course, we had many of the products listed on their website, but they only show NDC numbers on the site, not lot numbers (which are the real issue).
Store brands are OK, BUT GENERICS ARE NOT THE SAME AS BRANDED medications - I've worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a long time, and they are not directly equivalent. So, if you see a difference in how well they work, I'd ask your pediatrician what they recommend.
We're likely going to switch to an Rx product for our daughter's allergies.
