We finally settled on a boy's name, now we need to finish the girl's name. We have decided on Dehlia if it is a girl. So, what middle name would compliment that?

BTW: Our last name starts with a G and has two syllables.

Some thoughts were:
Dehlia Marie
Dehlia Rose
Dehlia Elizabeth

Well, how about any of the following:

Anne
Nicole
Lynn
Kay
Jane
Jenice

Also, just for reference, my mom said, the way to pic a name is to go to the back door, and yell it out - the whole name, as though you were calling them in from play, if you can spit it out easily, then it's a winner.....if you stumble over it, forget it.

Congrats on the baby......take care and good luck.........hope this helps.

I like Dehlia Marie or Rose...I found that names sound better with fewer syllables in the middle names than are in the first. I think using Elizabeth will put her name with a mouthful. Just my 2 cents. Congrats on your wee one :)

I just have to say, when I saw this in my email this morning, my jaw dropped a bit. I have three daughters, and you listed their three middle names right in order of their age - Sheyna Marie, Ashley Rose, and Payton Elizabeth! Freaky, huh?

I'm on the Dehlia Rose bandwagon....it goes well together.

I love the name Dehlia!
Just like Denise H mentioned, when I was considering names for my children, I thought about how it would sound when I was yelling at them.
:)

Also, I thought how it would sound when their names were announced at their high school graduations, etc.

I like Elizabeth.
I'm sure you'll find the perfect name.

Best wishes!
