Hi J.,
You'll have to bake from scratch a lot more since mixes often have dry milk in them. My advice is to start slowly and keep it simple. Instead of cereal with milk for breakfast try alternatives like instant oatmeal with fruit or grits and eggs. For lunches try beans and rice with chips or tuna with tomato, rice cakes and peanut butter with fruit or even carefully chosen canned soup. For snacks try tortilla chips, frozen bannana or other whole fruits, popcorn, dried fruit. There are always dairy free mixes, breads, cookies, cereal bars, crackers and other treats at places like Whole Foods and the health food sections at Krogers. They're expensive and don't taste as good but it's better than nothing.
