Hello.

Unbeknownst to me yesterday morning, my toddler dropped his sippy cup on the back seat of the car and some spilled out, leaving a large stain. I discovered it in the afternoon. Any suggestions on how to get the stain out?? I had thought it would disappear once it dried, but no such luck :-(

Thanks.

What can I do next?

Well if was water it would have defiantly gone away without leaving any marks but as it was milk it was to leave some marks... But no need to worry over them its really as easy as getting your car to a car wash, an new type of car wash that is. My kids are messy eaters and leave all sort of stains on the back seat, what I do is that once a moth or when need be I send my car for a professional steam cleaning http://www.detailxperts.net/services_locations_mobile_det... service to DetailXperts, check out there website they might have a franchise in your area. (steam cleaning is just like a car wash but uses steam instead of water, so less wastage of water + more efficient + kills germs brewing in the spills!)

Woolite carpet and upholstery cleaner. It comes in a blue trigger spray bottle. I use this to get the milk off my couch and it works great.

Sol-U-Mel works great and it is all natural. It even gets out blood, and I know my son is a brute and always gets hurt. Sol-U-Mel also helps remove odors and milk is horrible! Good luck!

I would try a product called "Awesome". You can find it at the dollar store for just a buck. It's in concentrated form, but I use it all the time just as it is.

Oxyclean should help. I use the spray bottle for laundry or take an empty spray bottle and mix it with some oxyclean and warm water to dissolve. I use it on my carpet at home. I spray it on and blot with a damp paper towel. Anything more difficult, I use resolve carpet cleaner. If it does start to stink, febreeze works well. My Mom spilled vinegar in her car and febreeze took the stink out.

It's not the stain, but the smell that is potentially the worst problem!
Try a cleaner based on enzymes for the best clean. I love Mothers Little Miracle, but don't know where to suggest getting it, because a family member got it for me a while ago. But there are others around too. If you can't find something in the cleaning dept/baby dept, some of the pet cleaners are based on enzymes and will work as well.
