Just want to know for my sake she has been alittle snippy!! Thanks everyone!

I had the same problem a few yrs ago. I was bleeding very heavy for almost 3 months. I was diagnosised w/ PCOS, Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. Its were your hormones are out of balance. Just read about it on WebMD. I had to be put on birth control to regulate my cycle. Good Luck!!

What is mirena. I experienced this six years ago, and found out I had endometrosis. I had a choice to have removal, but because it was so widespread, I chose removal, and also I was in the army, and heading over seas, so it would be a relief. Hupe this helps. D.

Hey Z.,
First I have been on Mirena since January and love it! I only had a "period" if you call it that- spotting for 3 days- for the first 3-4 months and nothing since. However I still get the PMS; ask my hubby! LOL. I would talk to her GYN again.
Second, would love to know about the weight lost diet!!!! ____@____.com
Thanks!

I heard you can bleed that much but she can always get a second opinion. As far as moods, I swear that I was moody too from it but the gyn said it could be PMS or that I am just under stress and my hormones are still flushing from my body (even after all this time from birth). I only bleed for 3 weeks then it stopped and I had one period back in March. I think it is so different for everyone.
