Mixing Panadol with Breastmilk?

I know the box says you can mix Children's Panadol with water or juice, but what about a tiny bit of breastmilk? My DARLING 10 week old teething daughter has learnt to spit out her panadol. Why on earth do they make it cherry flavoured??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for your helpful comments. She didn't take it mixed with breast milk - I can understand why, the taste is still there.
I will just keep trying to get it down the back of her throat. It's very tricky.

Just for the record, yes this panadol is designed for children aged 1 month - 2 years, and I have the dosage right as my doctor and I sorted it out because she is heavy for her age.
And secondly, I can see that my daughter is teething. If we took everything based on what the internet or books say, we'd not be listening to our children and screwing a fair bit up! There is a lovely little W. bump on her gum, red and swollen, and alot of pain.
So you tell me what is happening?

Thank you again to everyone's helpful comments!

Hi H.,
If you place the dropper at the back and side of baby's mouth, and exceedingly slowly drop by drop give it to baby, she will swallow, not spit. Please let the baby swallow each drop of medicine before you give another drop. This is the best way to administer medication at this age, and you can be sure baby gets the entire dose. If you add breastmilk to medicine you will just have more volume to administer. Another trick for teething babies is to place a clean, wet washcloth in the freezer. Babies love to chew on these because they fit into the anatomy of the baby's gums, and provide relief. A stiff store-bought teething ring can not conform to the shape of baby's gums.
God Bless Baby and Mama,

I'm not familiar with Panadol. If it is a liquid, put it in medicine syringe, place along the inside of her cheek towards the back. She won't be able to spit if out.

I don't think putting it in breast milknwould be a problem but you should check with your doctor about dosage. I think you are not supposed to give panadol until 3 months but only because the babies are so small and it is hard to get the dose right in such small amounts. I thought they made an infant panadol with no dye and no flavor?? Maybe I am remembering wrong. Wow teeth at 10 weeks crazy but not unheard of. You could always drop it in and hold her nose for a second so she has to swallow. It is awful but it works in an emergency. Maybe teething gel for the gums would be better.

I had problems with breastfeeding but always mixed medicine with formula or milk when my kids were babies. My son had some medical issues at birth so he got daily medication mixed in formula from before 10 weeks. If you look in the drug store you may be able to get a medicine cup with a nipple on it so you can mix in just a few teaspoons of milk with the medication. The syringe in the cheek method works too but take a bit of practice. My son used to fight it but my daughter cooperates now that she is a toddler.
