Seeking a GOOD wholistic peds group in Aurora/Naperville area. Good bedside manor, flexible office hours (I work downtown full-time), nice office staff, comfortable waiting area. I guess I'm just looking for someone better than our Peds now. The office now is rude, small waitng room cramped, sick and well mixed, our Peds never asks about family life and daily going ons. My 2 yr old has been a bad eater since she started on solids and is in the low 50th percentile for weight. The only nutrition she gets is when my Mom gives her a bottle mixed with vitimins, fruit, and ceral mixture (she make from scratch all organic). She is first given solid food on a plate, when she refuses it or doesn't eat than she gets a bottle. She somedays will eat than no bottle, but there are more days that she doesn't eat at all, maybe 5 cherrios. She maybe gets 2 - 3 bottles a day. And he all he focused on that she's still on a bottle, I felt I was being lectured insead of helping us figuring out why she's not eating. I'm always concerned when she gets sicks, because that's when she loses more weight. My 5 month old eats more than she does at times. We have delt with this ourselves and have a plan that works, just need a Peds that can be more wholistic with your whole family. And what is the differnce between a 3 year old sucking a pacifier all day and my 2 yrs drinking from a bottle 2 -3 times a day a nutritious drink. She does drink froma sippy cup. The "shakes" are too thick for a sippy cup. HELP
I third Dr. Chad Olsen of Millenium Pediatrics! He really really listens to mom's and his philosophy is to come to healthcare decisions together w/ the parent! I've been taking my children to him for 10 years now, since my oldest was born, and would never change!
Dr. John Webb in Darien area who is good and his twin brother who I work for in Oswego and my children see is great!! Dr. LO and Dr. James Webb are fabulous. We have patients who come from all over to see these MD's.

Our peditrican came recommended from childrens memorial hospital because my son too has issues with his diet. The office is Millenium Pedatrics and they are located on 95th st and Naper/Plainfield rd in Naperville. I recommend Dr. Olson or Kalish I love them. The number ###-###-####
Dr, Ellison at Edward Medical Group on 95th street in Naperville is very good. She has four kids of her own and listens to your concerns and helps out any way she can. She and the other doctors in the practice are very polite to deal with, it is very easy to make appointments, and they are open late a couple nights a week. They also have Sat hours for non-emergency sickness that might come up. They have a big waiting room with a small table and chairs for the kids, and the doctors are family practitioners so our whole family goes there. I have lived here for 8 years and tried three different doctors offices and I keep coming back to Edward medical group. If you have to go to the Edward hospital, everything is connected making it nice when you need follow up care. I hope this helps!

I REALLY like Dr. Michael Reicherts office in Naperville. They are open late and have Saturday appointments. There are three Dr.s in the office and three CFNP. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My son is 8 weeks old and has had some issue with reflux, the phone nurse is always so nice and very helpfull.###-###-####
We love, love, love Naperville Pediatrics. They always have time for you and will even see sick children on Sundays! Dr. Kudchadker is our personal favorite. Everyone we have recommended him to loves him as much as we do.
Not sure if this is too far out of your way but Dr. Dan Schulman in batavia is the best pediatrician in the area. He is very thourough and talks not just to you but gets at the kids eye level and talks to them. My kids are all too old except the youngest now as the cut off for him is 18. Dr. Chad Olsen with Millenium Ped on 95th and Plainfield Rd. He's wonderful, listens, cares, open to alternative methods of medicine, etc. We moved from so. CA last summer and our ped was Dr. Bob Sears (of THE Sears family) and Dr. Olsen was a pleasant surprise to meet in IL. He's open to a delayed vaccination schedule as well!

I have taken all four of my girls to Dr. Paul Granoff for 15 years. My oldest two are out of the house, my youngest two still swear by him. He's interested in ANYthing that has to do with children's well being. He is in Oswego, takes most insurances. The nurses are wonderful, call my girls by name.
I use ABC Pediatrics ###-###-####). Our main DR is Dr Shanks and she is wonderful! They are not quick to use meds and are always asking about home life and milestones.
