Hello all,

Every summer around this time I enroll my daughter into the Shark and Minnows swimming lessons however this year they are not offering lessons in the one location they have close to where I live.

Does anyone know any other swimming lessons instructors/facilities other then the YMCA? I remember seeing a flyer for a lady in the eastwood community that offered the lessons in her home but unfortunately I can not find her information anywhere.

Thanks in advance

What can I do next?

Hi N.,
You should look into Infant Swimming Resource. ISR offers survival swimming lessons for children from 6 months to 6 years old. The children are taught one on one by trained instructors (who have to recertify every year), and safety is their first priority.

ISR instructors are located all over Central Florida. Check out the Infant Swimming Resource web page at: www.infantswim.com or call 407-855-SAFE to be referred to the instructor closest to you.

ISR's program has a 40 year history of teaching children to enjoy the water, teaching them to swim, but most important -- teaching them to save themselves if they get into the water un-supervised.

Do yourself a huge favor and call ISR. They are the very best program around for teaching your child safety in and around the water.

I am an instructor myself - have been for 6 years. I have taught over 100 children to save themselves. I would love to talk to you in person. You can respond to this message and I will get the note. Or contact me at ____@____.com
I teach in Lake Mary, FL - right near the Library, Middle School, High School.

No matter what ISR instructor you decide to work with - you will find qualified, trained professionals who dedicate themselves to seeing that not one more child drowns.

Please - Call 407-855-SAFE ###-###-####)

Bless you!
