Montessori School?

I love montessori school its so great

My kids (3.5 and 16 months) started there in June. They love both the learning environment and the teachers. Everyone there is very loving, and I can tell that they are learning a lot.

My son (3 yrs old) is in a montessori school and we love it! Teachers and classroom atmosphere are great!

i am a montessori teacher, and my 3 1/2 year old daughter has attended our montessori school from 11 months. i have experience with both public and private schools, and i can assure you that the children who attend/graduate from montessori programs are more independent, self-assured, and hungry for more and more learning. many people wonder if children who attend montessori preschool/kindergarten are able to "make it" or adjust in the "real world." please think of it this way: you are investing in your child's earliest learning experiences. the child who has positive school experiences early in life will have a greater chance of carrying that on with him/her throughout their years in grade school and highschool - these are the students who often earn scholarships to attend college, and go on to acheive greatness. (seriously, look it up on google - famous people who went to montessori schools - it's cool!) the tools that a montessori classroom gives each child for conflict resolution, tolerance and compassion for others, self-guided learning and all-around independence creates a person who will inevitably go out into the world asking questions, trying new things, and will have the self-esteem and confidence it takes to make it in today's society. do your research though - the school should be AMI or AMS certified to ensure you are getting the authentic montessori school.experience for your child, with teachers who are properly trained and certified.
