Morning Sickness Symptoms Post Ovulation

I am wondering if anyone has had morning sickness REALLY early in pregnancy? I just finished ovulating a couple of days ago, am hoping I am pregnant, and woke up this morning with severe either morning sickness or stomach flu. How early is too early? I'd be just about implantation stage. Has anyone experienced this?

What can I do next?

I was sick very early in my pregnancy, and stayed that way until after I was 6 months along.

I found out with my second two kids I was prego the day after I was suppose start my period. I with my second didnt feel any different until about three days later. That being said, with my third I could tell before I knew I was prego. I think I waited until I was late to take the PT, I was in severe denial though. I think everyone is different. You could very well be having the start of hormonal changes which is making you sick. You for one cant go off how you were in the beginning with you first because every pregnancy is different too. For me I would not get sick I was just feeling bloated in the evening and very gas. Sorry for the TMI. I would wait it out for a few days. If you are still feeling it is most likely a baby. If you start feeling better in a few it was sadly just a stomach bug!! Good luck and either way I hope you start feeling better!! keep us posted!!

I started with barfing and dizziness within a few days of becoming pregnant....for some reason my body just makes extremely high levels of HCG hormone...I was able to tell that I was pregnant very quickly by symptoms and also able to pee on stick before period was due and see i was pregnant (btw the dollar tree has pregnancy tests 1.00 each that are very sensitive and work great) Unfortunately with my last pregnancy and the one i am enduring right now the morning sickness does not go away for me....I have hyperemisis gravidium...which basically means i barf nonstop unless i take medication...zofran is the best. GOOD LUCK ,and CONGRATS

I don't believe the thoughts (that all the books etc.) tell you are true about not being able to be sick so early in pregnancy.
I KNEW I was pregnant with my son because I was queasy and just felt weird. My husband was making martinis and I told him 3 days before I took the test that I shouldn't have one because of that and I was right!
I started feeling funky about 5 days past ovulation. I took my prego test at 10 days and voila, positive! Indeed I was right and continued to be sick the entire 40 weeks (hopefully if you are prego, THAT part won't happen to you!)!
I think whoever above me that said some people are just more sensitive to HCG hit the nail on the head.
GL to you!

i don't think it's likely you are experiencing symptoms early, and this is why: your hormone levels haven't yet increased enough to alter your body's rhythm. i'm not saying you aren't pregnant; you very well might be. but there's no way to tell this early. the earliest i've gotten a positive pregnancy test was 4 days before i missed my period, and the morning sickness started the day my period was due.
if you feel any minor cramping waaaaaaaaaay down low, you may be having implantation cramping. are you temping? if you are, watch for a sharp and sustained temperature rise as that can also signal that you're expecting.
good luck!

With our son, I became VERY ill at implantation. Then the nausea disappeared until I was about 8 weeks along and stayed until 20 weeks. Good luck to you. Maybe you really are pregnant!

Hello, my name is T.. I'm 23 and I have twin girls. I'm pretty sure you can get it right away. I got morning sickness the day after I found out I was pregnant.

I know some medical people will tell you that if you're sick right away it's mental, because physically there isn't enough change to make you ill. But does it really matter? You still feel sick and you're pregnant, right?!? Anyway, I've been pg three times, and have never had much problem with morning sickness except if I have an empty stomach. However, having said that, my first pregnancy was an "oops" three months after we got married. We were planning to wait a couple years, as we were 20 and 21 years old. In the middle of the night after the "incident" I woke out of a dead sleep - sat up straight just about to throw up. Out of sheer will I kept it down, but I thought to myself, "Oh, Lord, I just got pregnant." I calmed myself down and went back to sleep and pushed the thought to the back of my mind . . . until the test came back positive a month later!!!!!

Blessings on you whether you're pregnant or just sick!

If you are feeling ill, I recommend a set of Psi Bands. They'll help alleviate your nausea so you can feel normal and function.
