Moving into local/Rockwall storage for a short time. Would like to know if anyone is exceptionally happy with a local moving company ... or if you've had a bad experience and know who NOT to call.

We moved from Michigan to Texas with Armstrong Relocation and they set us up with a Dallas-native mover who did a great job and we were told he was "the best in the business". His name is Ron. Let me know if you would like his cell number.

Hello susan i dont know any movers as each time we've moved we got a uhaul and a couple of friends and did it ourselves(smile) but if you need a make ready for the house your moving out of and the one your moving into please call One Touch Professional Cleaning. Bonded and Insured and a discount for being a mamasource member
We had a good experience with Mayflower when we moved in 2000. The distance of the move was less than 3 miles. They packed us well and got us loaded and unloaded in reasonable time.
Don't call Starving Students. They cost a small fortune so they cannot be starving.
Don't call Ameritex. Although they are very reasonably priced, they stood us up on our last move and we ended up wasting an entire afternoon waiting for them and had to reschedule using somebody else.
Ended up using The Apartment Movers at ###-###-####. They were very reasonable, thorough, careful, professional and Larry was great on the phone. Don't know where their base office is but the price was still very reasonable.
Extremely happy with I.M.S. Relocation (Mayflower). Had them pack and move me recently.
